SEN

Mrs Avons, one of our senior leaders in school is responsible for coordinating specific educational needs and liaises with students, parents, teachers and outside agencies to assist all students with a special educational need in reaching their potential.

A team of specialist staff make up our Assisted Learning Department which provides essential support in the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. All students with an identified special educational need have individual classroom support plans and are allocated a key worker.

If you would like to discuss SEN provision please contact Mrs E Avons, Senior Leader, SENDCo (E.Avons@bb-hs.co.uk)

Our SEND Information Report can be found here and in the School Policies section of our website.

As a school, we are also committed to building successful partnerships with the local authority. We have recently supported Staffordshire County Council with the creation of a video outlining the key aspects of their three-year SEND strategy. We are very proud of all the students and staff involved and think the elements featuring Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form capture what inclusion means to us perfectly. We continue to work in partnership with local councils and external agencies to provide the best possible support for students with SEND needs.
