Curriculum Leader of Music (commencing 25th February 2019)

Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form has a unique opportunity for a Curriculum Leader of Music; the successful candidate will be a hardworking professional who combines excellent organisational and teaching skills and have the vision and commitment to inspire students and staff whilst promoting the appreciation of and participation in music across the school.

This wonderful opportunity is for someone who would like to add breadth to their experience and offers an opportunity to shape and develop a key strand of the school’s musical heritage and ambitions. A TLR 2.1 is awarded initially, with a review planned for December 2019 to enable the successful candidate to have the opportunity to demonstrate impact on student outcomes and improved student recruitment. A willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school is essential.

Casual Catering Assistant

Monday to Friday – Term time only

£8.77 per hour – Hours are as and when required to fit within business demands

This is a great opportunity to work within a team, providing a high-quality catering service within school environments.

We are looking for a confident person with a friendly personality and exceptional customer service skills, basic food preparation experience and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Reporting to the Catering Manager, general duties include some basic food preparation in line with our menu and recipes, health & safety compliance, cleaning duties and serving from the counter.

Catering experience is not essential as training will be given.

We expect all staff to share our commitment of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people and this position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.


Lunchtime Supervisor

Grade 2 £7.20 p/h

We have a vacancy in school for a Lunchtime Supervisor post. Duty time is 1pm – 2pm.
