Swim School

Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form is one of only two schools within north Staffordshire to offer its students on-site swimming provision.

Our fantastic 17m flat deck pool is used extensively by our secondary students as part of the P.E curriculum, and it is utilised by nine different primary schools throughout the week.

The swimming facilities are hired on Monday – Thursday evenings by LM Swim School from 4:00pm onwards, providing enjoyable and progressive lessons using the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim’ award scheme. Lessons are available for novice swimmers, up to competent pre-competition groups or individuals wanting to improve their fitness. There are also community sessions, lifesaving classes or private lessons available. All teaching staff are fully qualified and enthusiastic about helping children achieve their potential.
